With this news, strengthen those who have weak knees. Say to those with fearful hearts, Be strong & do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.” Isaiah 35:3-4

I love getting together with friends and sharing with each other over a cup of coffee what God is doing in our lives, it boosts my faith and lifts my heart. That's the aim of this blog. There's a story behind it; It was inspired after a friend gave me a single mustard seed, saying ‘that’s all it takes Jill’. What my friend didn’t know was that the very same morning God had reminded me of a promise He'd made to me over 20 years before regarding writing. I took the mustard seed home, planted it and watched it grow from a tiny sapling to a large, flourishing shrub at our front door. Every time I look at it it reminds me that our God is always true to his promises.
Jesus lives in and works through his people, every single day. It's good to share what he's doing! I love talking about Him and writing about Him.

“Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.” Hosea 6:3 I have some fledgling shrubs and plants that I grew in pots over last summer. Then, when winter came […]

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore.” (Psalm 125:1-2 ESV) “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning […]
There is Enough It makes me smile every morning. The birds sitting up in the trees waiting for their daily bread. Soon they are in the garden, the bread supplied and the birds happy, or so you would think. However, as we have our breakfast watching the birds have theirs, there is one blackbird who […]
“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” IsaiAh 26:3 NLT We could look back on 2020, and even ahead, to the difficult weeks and months that many of us are facing, and ask, “where is God in all this?” Yesterday, I sat on our […]
