Thankfulness and Praise

“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.”

‭‭(Psalm‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭2‬)

God our Father never ceases to do “marvellous things” in our lives, from the more ‘dramatic’ miracles such as healing to gentler, to more subtle acts that we often don’t even notice, such as bringing comfort through a friend at the very moment when we feel like giving up.

When we recognise and speak about God’s loving deeds and attention to detail in our lives, the background music of our hearts will continually flow with the sweet notes of grateful joy in all circumstances.

God is, and always will be, GOOD!

    1. Yes, there’s always something to be thankful for and it’s only a small shift really, to acknowledge out loud that every good and perfect gift in our lives comes from God, and praising him for that fact ☺️
