Fully Equipped

“But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” Then the Lord asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.”
Exodus 4:10-12

Do you feel unprepared, unable or afraid to step out of your comfort zone when it comes to the call of God? If so, you’re in good company! Many of the ‘greats’ in the Bible that we look up to felt just the way you do, when God required them to do something. Moses was one such person.

The wonderfully freeing thing is that your and my ability or strength has nothing to do with it. God doesn’t choose strong people, He chooses willing ones. All He wants from us is our obedience, regardless of our comfort level. When we say “yes” to God, surrendering our striving to do it ‘my way,’ we can rest, secure His power and strength.

GOD PLUS NOTHING STILL EQUALS EVERYTHING!

Our God is like no one else, His majesty, power, glory and strength are matchless, yet He chooses to work with and through imperfect vessels. Without Him, we can do nothing, but here’s a thought: God plus nothing still equals EVERYTHING!

So, you are fully equipped for whatever it is He is calling you to do.
