Welcome to Mustard Seed Living 🌱
The website now incorporates my Etsy shop, Miss Maisie’s Wee Shop, where I sell my handmade jewellery and gifts, made from ‘up-cycled’ vintage watch parts and industrial materials. There’s a spiritual reason for the choice of ‘discarded’ materials for my jewellery; put very briefly ~ it reflects what God does in the life of a person surrendered to Him. He gives us “beauty in place of ashes.” He restores, renews and makes whole again, that which was broken.
The blog: I don’t claim to be a teacher or scholar (though I do study my Bible) I just enjoy writing and the aim of the blog is simply to encourage readers with what the Lord has encouraged me through my personal Bible reading and life-lessons.
Isaiah 35:3-4 is the mission statement of Mustard Seed Blog: “With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”
